| How YOU can help New Beginnings help men, women, & children rise above sexual victimization... VOLUNTEER TO BE AN ADVOCATE! New Beginnings is always looking for persons with a desire to provide advocacy services to survivors. Training & on-going support is provided to those over 20. We also utilize volunteers to help with advocacy packets, Laundry of Love kits, Public Relations, & Education programs. COME ABOARD! New Beginnings is governed by a Board of Directors, who set policies and fund raise on behalf of the agency. Come aboard and help us. ADVISORY COUNCIL! New Beginnings utilizes a 7 county member advisory council to allow us to see the needs of ALL we serve. DONATE! As a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit, New Beginnings not only depends on local & government grants, but on the generosity of those who feel a strong call to our cause. Donations can qualify for a tax deduction for the donor and are used to allow us to serve those we do! Our Laundry of Love program that offers clothing/toiletries to survivors after the forensic exam allows people to make donations of new items to assist with New Beginnings. Be a GREEN DOT! By being a proactive member of our community, standing up for those abused, educating those around you in regards to abuse, and being a voice for survivors, you can help us create a GREEN DOT COMMUNITY! Check out their information, and consider being a part of our Community Prevention Team! |
