GOOD TOUCH BAD TOUCH
Pre-School  through 6th

This program is a child abuse prevention program designed for Pre-School-6th grade as a tool to teach children
the skills they need to prevent or interrupt abuse.  It works by teaching children what abuse is, by giving them
skills development, and by empowering them into action if threatened or victimized.  

How much time does the program take?

Pre-School:   20 minutes/4 sessions

Kindergarten 30 minutes/3 sessions

1-4th 45 minutes/3 sessions

5-6  1 hour/3 sessions

This program was developed over a period of 3 years and was evaluated with over 24,000 children, their
parents, and classroom teachers.  The program teaches children vital safety skills on developmental level
compatible with their own age group.  The lessons are positive and taught through values such as respect for
self and others, compassion, humor, honesty caring and responsibility.  



BUILDING HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS                              
GRADES K-12    
30 minutes
3 week course

The structure of “Building Healthy Relationships”  centers upon a student’s ability to differentiate between sexual
harassment and mutual respect, utilize effective communication and negotiation skills to prevent and resolve
conflicts, and ultimately to recognize the components of a healthy relationship and  harassment  relationships.
This program is based upon 3 basic lessons.  While the topic of each lesson will be stated in different terms for
the various grade levels, the principles will remain essentially the same:

Week 1:  Self awareness, self-esteem and personal boundaries
Respecting the personal rights and boundaries of others
Week 2:  Developing effective communication skills including active listening to effectively communicate
boundaries.  Negotiating successful solutions to conflict
Week 3:  Integrating the first 2 lessons; and discussing components of healthy relationships


“TECHKNOWLEDGEY” INTERNET CURRICULUM
GRADES 7-8       
35-40 minutes

The Internet is easily used by children; in fact they may be teaching adults how to navigate websites, utilize e-
mail and what some of the terms mean.  However, they are still children that need the guidance of caring adults
who will help them develop the critical thinking skills and good judgment that are necessary for internet surfing.  
The curriculum also addresses sexual exploitation on the internet.  Sexual exploitation appears in a variety of
ways:  transfer of sexually explicit material, seduction through attention, affection, kindness and even gifts;
sexually explicit conversation once they’ve established a relationship; face to face contact; and even cyber
stalking.  Techknowledgey is designed for grades 7-8.  Each program is preceded by a pre-test to assess their
current knowledge of the Internet.  The student programs contain interactive assignments that test the following
skills:  problem solving and use of the Internet.  


PEER SEXUAL HARASSMENT
THE BULLY THE BULLIED AND THE BYSTANDER:  HELPING THEM ALL
GRADES 7-8
45 MINUTES

This program will define harassment as it pertains to the school setting.  Teens often do not think about their
actions towards others.  We will give examples of harassing behaviors that students either experience or see at
school.  Consequences of these actions, both emotional and legal, are impressed upon the students.  Students
will also learn coping mechanisms should this happen to them.  



DATE RAPE AND CLUB DRUGS
GRADES 9-12 &College
90 minutes

Statistically teens make up the largest age group for victims of sexual assault.  Myths and Facts of rape are
discussed as well as statistics.  This PowerPoint presentation is packed with the latest information on drugs
used in drug facilitated sexual assault including Ecstasy, GHB, Ketamine and Rohypnol.  It also provides
information on protection techniques, what to do if you are a victim, and how to assist someone who may be a
victim.  Students will also view true life stories of teens that were given these drugs and the consequences they
endured.  


TEACHER INTERNET SAFETY CURRICULUM
35 MINUTES

This curriculum is designed to teach teachers how to recognize the invasive capacity of the internet.    It will help
them to recognize the dangers of disclosing personal information over the Internet; recognize the types of
sexual exploitation and predators on the Internet recognize potentially dangerous and suspicious behaviors, and
the skills necessary to help children prevent sexual exploitation.    A pretest will be given to measure teacher
knowledge prior to the program.



CLICK ON SAFETY INTERNET CURRICULUM
GRADES 4-6
35-40 minutes

GREEN DOT
The Green Dot violence prevention initiative is taking hold around the state. There is a renewed sense of hope
that the collective impact of individual actions can indeed result in a reduction of violence. A
GREEN DOT is any
behavior, choice, word, or attitude that counters or displaces violence – by promoting safety for everyone and
communicating utter intolerance for sexual violence, interpersonal violence, stalking, and child abuse. If you are
